APPLICATION: The Leuven International Short Film Fest has teamed up with Reelport to provide an online submissions service. This is the best (preferred) way to apply for this year’s festival.

How do you submit using Reelport?
1) Register your film at Reelport.
2) Select “International Short Film Festival Leuven” from the list to submit your film
3) Categories: make sure your film is entered into the correct categories to maximise its award winning potential
4) Upload your film and check your mailbox. Your submission is only complete after receiving a confirmation email from Reelport.

Although we strongly advise to apply via Reelport, sending a DVD (only with English subtitles!) directly to the festival is also still possible. Therefore fill out the on line entry form of the festival (not Reelport!) and send a DVD to: Fonk Vzw / International Short Film Festival Leuven / Maarten Alexander / Zwartzustersstraat 14 / 3000 Leuven / BELGIUM.
Important: mark the package with ‘festival preview copy – no commercial value’. The value of the package contents should be declared as no more than 20 Euros.

Notification
The festival will not confirm the receipt of submissions and preview copies. We kindly ask you to refrain from calling us to confirm the receipt of your material. All applicants will be notified via e-mail about the selection or rejection of their film at the end of October. No earlier feedback is given.
The selection committee’s decision to select or reject a film is final. No correspondence will be held in regards to this decision. If a film is selected for one of the Competition programmes of the International Short Film Festival Leuven, it can no longer be withdrawn.
